Mr. Chop is an inviting online platform that champions diversity and supports the LGBTQ+ community. The decision-making process began with identifying the target audience: individuals who appreciate high-quality, stylish products that also contribute to a meaningful cause.

The goal was to design a landing page that would be visually appealing and easy to use, ensuring a smooth shopping experience. In short, the Mr. Chop project was motivated by a celebration of inclusivity, authenticity, diversity, high-quality and community.

Excellent work here! I loved the idea of a retail store selling clothes that help LGBTQ people express their identities. The concept of selling donated clothes is fantastic—so eco-friendly too. Great research and solid insights—well done.

On the visual side, I adored the illustrations and the color theme of the page. Everything comes together beautifully.

Well done!

One question: Does the "Shop Now" button lead to a catalog, or is it just demonstrating an animation? If it's supposed to lead to a catalog, it's not working.
Thank you for your review! I'm glad you like it. The "Shop now" button is just an animation.

The illustrations and the name are the highlight for me. 11/10

Mr. Chop name really humanizes the site. Creating a logo for that would really bring that to 11/10

Scope for improvement:

  • Rainbow gradient used in Mr. Chop has slightly low contrast on one side
  • Something felt slightly off avout the text on the section right of the CEO section (I could be nitpicking)

I used quotes as a way to build empathy in my design as well. love it.

I wish I could review my designs the same way. But somehow I'm attached to my creations and can't view them with a neutral lens.

Perhaps you help me by reviewing my submission.

Thank you for taking the time to review my work. I agree with your suggestions for improvement. I'll see what I can do about it.

You've done a lot of research, and I can see your efforts in Figma. The cover images in the project showcase look great! To enhance your presentation, focusing on project formatting and overall presentation will be key. This skill will develop with time and experience. Keep up the good work and continue refining your approach. All the best!

Thank you for your words of encouragement! I am sure my skills will develop over time with practice.

In your project, there is only a case study present. Where is the UI for your product? Please provide an interface or visual representation to better understand your solution.

It's under the section "Provide your final solution" (page 8). I used the UXcel template.
