You did a good job here! I like that you explain visually and have a good balance of text/images in the presentation.

From Ux/Ui perspective, I have only one question:

  • Would you consider not having the notification toggle right in front and implementing it soon when the user ratio of accepting would be much higher due to the engaging factor?
Thank you for your comment. It's an interesting question, I follow your thinking, it would be interesting to know the user acceptance rate in order to take the right design opportunity for notifications.
Hope that helped! Great vibes! You rock!

I really enjoyed following your design process, and the end result is impressive! You've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into this project.

If you haven’t already, consider incorporating feedback from user testing into your case study. This could include any insights you gained or changes you made based on real user interactions. It adds an extra layer of credibility and demonstrates a user-centered approach.

Thank you Ivelina for your advice. This is the part I'm currently working on :)

Great job, Noé.

I really like how you presented your project, both visually and through the written explanation. It’s clear and easy to follow.

I’m curious if you have any metrics that show the outcome of your research and design. Were you able to achieve the goal of encouraging users to explore other parts of the app beyond just the games?

design clean and clear! GREAT JOB

Noé, the Ankama Launcher case study makes a solid impression thanks to its coherent narrative structure, from problem, through research, to solution. You guide the viewer through the entire process well, which is key in a portfolio.

Your research is a strong point: the quantitative data (60%, 38%, 20%) concretely justifies design decisions, and the card sorting plus user archetypes add credibility. The problem statement is clear and concise.

The launcher UI itself looks modern. Dark palette, readable navigation hierarchy (sidebar + top tabs), and the personalized home page with recommendations logically addresses the identified issues. The onboarding flow with service and content selection is a smart approach to targeted personalization.

I agree with mentor Petar: here's a missing success metric or at least some indication of how the project impacted cross-service discovery. Even a hypothetical KPI would strengthen the case. Visually, the case study could benefit from more section variety. The dark background is consistent but occasionally feels monotonous.

Overall, this is a well-thought-out project with a clear process and concrete solution. Your UX approach shows maturity. Keep this level up and keep pushing forward! 💪😊

Really loved the whole process definition. Final output shows the hard work and results of all the steps before. <3

Thank you very much for your comment :)
