Hey, guys! This is my project and one of my first works dedicated only to interaction design. I created an interactive icon set by Rive and my main goal was to create unique monochrome icons with comfortable format for transferring to developers. My main goal was to create animation faster than usual and give it to FE by code. It saves time of work and makes collaboration easy. The Rive advantage is transferring animation to embedded code by one click so you save team members time. Also, I show how users can interact with all elements of my project.

You can find animation and interact with it by the link at Behance. As you know Behance have not the opportunity to interact with the project's elements but I did it.

I hope UXcel mentors can provide my full feedback or recommendations.

thanks for your attention!

Great job! These are really clean! It must have taken ages to do well done!

Thank you, to be honest, all this work took no more than 16 hours, including the presentation.

Great job! The icon interactions are straightforward yet perfectly capture their functions. The presentation layout is well done.

The icon set looks stylistically consistent. The monochrome palette and uniform stroke weight create a clean, professional look. The icons have their own character and aren't a simple reproduction of standard libraries, which aligns with the goal of creating something unique.

A few observations. Some icons differ in their level of detail. For example, the camera is more complex than the flag next to it, which slightly disrupts the visual balance of the set. Lai Ngoc Lam pointed out a similar thing in the context of animations, that some take up more real estate than others. This confirms it's worth equalizing the optical weight of icons, both in static and animated versions. The pause icon stands out with a filled style against the outline approach of the rest. It's worth keeping consistency unless it's an intentional choice for interaction states. Without seeing the animations on Behance, I can't evaluate the interaction design itself, which is the core of this project. I can only see the final shape of the icons.

The idea of using Rive with code export is a very practical approach. Thinking about the workflow with developers is what sets a mindful designer apart. Keep developing this direction, it's a skill that genuinely increases your value on any team. 😊❤️

Hey Kseniia,

You’re absolutely crushing it with those icon animations! They’re not only consistent and cohesive, but they also seem to have a pulse of their own. I’m loving the way each one flows into the next like a perfectly choreographed dance.

However, as a keen-eyed observer, I did notice that some of the animations take up more real estate than others.

So, there you have it - my 4 stars! Keep up the fantastic work, Kseniia, and remember to keep those animations swimming in harmony.

Well done!

Hi Kseniia,

Your animated icons are absolutely captivating! The smooth transitions and precise motion bring so much life to the design, making them both eye-catching and functional. Each animation feels thoughtfully crafted, adding personality without overwhelming the user experience. Fantastic work!

Awesome, great job!

Amazing work, Kseniia!

The icons and their interactions are really good and smooth. I really liked all of them as a group as well; they work very well together. It would be great if you could upload the actual GIFs on Uxcel if possible.

BTW, I loved the interaction in the header and footer as well! Very nice job!

Beautiful work Kseniia! Clean and minimal.

Kseniia, your animated icons look lively and cohesive—just try refining easing curves for extra polish, but overall this is fantastic work!

Hey Kseniia,

Great job on the icon animations! They feel consistent and cohesive. My only concern is whether you've used the same container for each icon, as some animations seem to take up more space. It might be the context, but if you haven't considered it, that would be a great addition to the set.

Well done!
