Helena Silva

I’m Helena Cucas Silva, a UX/UI Designer from Porto, now based in sunny Barcelona. I've been immersed in art and design since I was 16, and I’m still discovering new reasons to love it every day.

I started my professional journey in 2016 working in graphic design, and over time, my passion naturally evolved into digital product design. In 2023, I completed my Master’s in Digital User Experience Design, an experience that expanded both my skills and worldview.

Today, I work remotely as a UX/UI Designer for a U.S.-based company and stay connected to Barcelona’s creative scene through my local design communities. I care deeply about accessibility, thoughtful design systems, and creating digital experiences that are both intuitive and delightful.

Outside of design, I’m a proud fantasy nerd (LOTR forever!), a hobby illustrator, and a big believer in storytelling as a design superpower. You’ll often find me walking around the city, reading, travelling, or rewatching my favourite Studio Ghibli films.
