I've decided to create 3 user personas for the social Pinterest. I've crafted the users profiles from common patterns and behaviours from people who actually uses Pinterest. They were not sourced from specific data but were, instead, designed to illustrate typical goals, challenges, motivations, and frustrations that users in these roles might experience. This approach helps to understand how different users might interact with Pinterest and what features or content might appeal to them.

Great work and presentation—your designs are easy to follow and aesthetically pleasing. Regarding the content, I was genuinely surprised to learn that Pinterest can be used for exploring tech and programming tasks as well as for discovering business trends. I’ve mostly used it for inspiration (books, movies, yoga flows, UI/UX design snapshots, etc.) and had not considered these alternative uses. I’d be interested to learn more about your research findings and the goals of users who utilize Pinterest in these ways.

Additionally, I'd appreciate your perspective on why you chose to focus on three specific personas. The 1st and 3rd personas seem to share similar goals and frustrations, and I'm curious about your reasoning behind this choice.

Thank you for your insightful work!

Thank you, Alesya! Regarding the 1st and 3rd personas, you make a good point. I chose them because a student and a digital marketing manager could have two different approaches to the platform. In fact, I wasn't entirely sure about the first one because Pinterest is often treated more as a hobby site.

Great job on creating detailed and realistic personas. They are clear, relevant, and well-presented. Special thx for nice cover image & presentation ;)

Thank you Gene for the feedback!

Great work and presentation!
