It feels so wrong providing this feedback because your presentation is very, very impressive from a research perspective!
So please bare this in mind whilst reading my feedback. I love your presentation! You've done an excellent job!
FLO brand color:
Logo: #FF5A7D
Button background: Linear gradient #EB5E8F, #F0707D
Button foreground: #FFFFF
Your choice:
Pink color used: #FB5981
Whitish background: ≈ #F5F5F5 - #E6E6E6
Was it intentional to not use their real brand colors?
Neither your choice of palette or FLO own color palette is WCAG compliant as far as I can see (maybe I'm wrong?). If this is the case, this should be addressed immediately, especially when this app is being within the MedTech space. And especially when so much communication on their site surrounds around inclusivity & community. This can backfire and become a nightmare for their brand even be a liability with all new legal regulations rolling into action.
From a presentation perspective, the lack of contrast between foreground & background color can decrease readability & legibility. Especially if you're presenting it on a projector or poor/old monitor/TV.
Some slides have text that is quite small (thin font weights) and together with the lack of contrasting colors, it can make it difficult to read. Especially for older people... euhum... like myself ;) and executives that you most likely are presenting this towards.
To fight that; utilize font sizes, weights, and colors to establish a more clear visual hierarchy.
Use bullet points to highlight key findings and suggestions. Some slides have lengthy texts that could be broken down into concise bullet points to make them more scannable.
I also think you can align the elements in the "content area" better, utilising negative space better.
Some slides have a clear structure with "User Task," "Evaluations," and suggestions, while others are more narrative. Keeping a uniform structure across all slides enhances readability and comprehension.
Consider including interactive elements in your presentation, such as clickable links or embedded videos that demonstrate the app in use. This can provide a more dynamic experience. Maybe try the new presentation feature in Figma to try this out?
Briefly acknowledging any limitations of the heuristic evaluation (e.g., the scope of testing or specific user demographics not covered) can add credibility to the findings.
The presentation ends with a “Thank You” slide, but consider adding a conclusion slide summarizing the key findings and recommendations from the evaluation.
Again, love the work! Keep it up!
Well done Giang, you should be very happy with your work! The evaluation is clear and informative throughout with some great observations made.
To improve it further I would recommend including a summary page of action items or changes to be made so it's easy for any stakeholders involved to identify the next steps to take to improve the user experience against these heuristics.
Bonus points if you can rank these by the overall impact you think each one will have if implemented!
Hi Giang!
Great job on the detailed and thorough research of the Flo app, along with a beautiful presentation! To enhance your work further, consider adding a table that lists the heuristics and user tasks you analyzed, indicating whether they passed the test. This would provide a quick summary for viewers who prefer an overview instead of delving into all the details.
Additionally, you could improve the visibility of your 'Suggestions' section. Currently, they blend in with the rest of the text, even in bold. Consider using headings, color coding, or icons to make them stand out more.
Impressive research! Well done!

The depth of your insights is impressive and I love how you’ve taken the time to detail what’s working and what needs improvement. The examples you provided for each heuristic really help illustrate your points, and your rationale is both thoughtful and easy to understand. The presentation is neat and easy to follow, which makes the whole analysis very approachable. Well done!
Whoa, điều này thật tuyệt!
There was only a tiny hiccup from the presentation side, but it’s no big deal~ That is to choose a more suitable device frame and screenshot for better visualization.
+1 for adding citations!
I love your progress
Your heuristic evaluation of the Flo app is well-structured and provides valuable insights into its usability.
You’ve done a great job of applying Nielsen’s principles with clear examples and actionable recommendations. The report highlights both strengths and areas for improvement, offering a balanced and constructive perspective.
To make it even stronger, consider diving deeper into user pain points, refining the formatting for better readability, and providing clearer next steps in the conclusion.
Overall, it’s an insightful and professional analysis that effectively showcases your understanding of UX principles.
Very nicely done, I like the presentation!
The only thing i am missing is maybe some overall summary. Besides that great work :)
I really like the presentation and the way you’ve chosen to showcase the evaluation.
However, I feel that the rating of the severity of usability problems is missing. It would be helpful to prioritize the identified issues by indicating the severity of each usability problem.
Giang, your Flo app research and presentation are excellent! To make it even better, consider adding a summary table of the heuristics and user tasks analyzed, noting whether they passed, for a quick overview. Also, make your "Suggestions" section more visually prominent using headings, color-coding, or icons to distinguish them from the regular text. Overall, fantastic work!
