A/B Test for Hinge's Onboarding Flow
This project focuses on improving the onboarding experience of a dating app - Hinge, by addressing low profile completion rates. Since profile quality directly impacts match quality and user retention, optimizing onboarding becomes a critical product challenge.
The goal of this project is to design an A/B test that evaluates whether simplifying onboarding and introducing interactive, progressive elements can increase profile completion while maintaining user engagement and match quality.

This is a really good start! You clearly thought in depth about the guidelines and how to present the information.
However, the differences in information submitted in the two flows is very high for an A/B test. For example, entering your profile bio would not be part of the sign up flow and instead are selecting interests at the same time as not having the user select distance or other preference. There are too many changes to sign up flow which would make it hard to measure any real impact on profile sign up. This may technically lead to more sign ups but it could also contribute to low value incomplete profiles, and if it does positively affect signup there's no way to tell which part of the design was creating friction.
I highly recommend changing a few small things at a time and measuring the difference before making any huge changes.
