A UI/UX overhaul project of Bridge, a blockchain-based enterprise supply chain management web app originally called BSCM. This short case study details the rebrand and redesign of the product prioritizing modern visuals, trust, and clarity for the data-dense, B2B environment.

Main flows include creating a batch of produce and performing actions on it for different user groups throughout the supply chain lifecycle.

Hey Praneetha, 👋

Great job with this case study. Switching from center modals to side panels is a solid decision. It solves a real context-loss problem and aligns well with the "recognition rather than recall" heuristic. Color-coded statuses in the table (Produced, Ready for pickup, Picked up) significantly improve data scannability and directly address challenge #2. It's clear that the research with 6 participants actually drove design decisions rather than being just a formality.

The UI is clean and consistent. 💪 The dark palette with shadcn/ui gives it a professional, enterprise-grade feel. Nice touch including the empty state, form validation, and 404 page. I agree with both mentors, a legacy UI screenshot for comparison is missing, and without it, it's hard to gauge the scale of improvement. Adding even one before/after would make a huge difference in storytelling.

One small thing. I don't clearly see hover/focus states on the table rows, but that might just be due to the presentation being incomplete. :|

A solid project with a well-structured process and thoughtful decisions. You have an excellent foundation to build on. Keep iterating and add that before/after, and the case study will become even more convincing. 😊❤️

Thank you for the detailed feedback!

Clean, focused data table, easy to scan and the status tags do a good job of giving quick context. The hierarchy between table content and primary CTA (“Produce New Batch”) is also clear.

One gap is action visibility. “Enable Pickup” appears only on hover, which can hurt discoverability. Also, the row density feels a bit tight for long names; slightly increasing spacing or truncation handling could improve readability.

Thank you for the feedback!

Hey Praneetha,

Really great project! I love how you've explained your process in this project. It's not too long and shows clearly how you've improved the product though metrics. I also like how you've identified a few key problems solved and how you went about it.

My only thoughts is I'd have loved to see a snapshot of the product beforehand to give me something to compare to. Overall though, amazing job!

Thank you!

This is a solid case study. Your story of how you redesign the product is well-reasoned. And the revamped design looks promising.

Would be more convincing if you could have shared the legacy design for comparison as well.

All in all, awesome work. Looking forward to see more of your design.

Thank you for the feedback!

Great project and case study Praneetha,

You’ve structured your case study really nicely, and the product itself looks visually appealing. It’s just a bit hard to fully judge usability and flows from static images alone.

Do you have any insights on how users reacted to the changes? It would be great to see if you have any quantitative data or metrics that show the impact of your improvements.

Hey, thank you for the feedback! Yes, I have user research data available, just that I didn't want the case study to be too lengthy, so I opted for summarizing them under 'Outcomes' and the quick summary section below 'Overview' instead.
