The design process for the healthcare dashboard began with establishing a consistent visual system, starting with the color palette. I defined a primary color , then built complementary secondary, accent, and background shades to create a clean and professional look suited for a medical context. Once the color system was in place, I developed a typography hierarchy to ensure clarity and readability across different components. With the visual language ready, I moved on to layout planning. I had already created wireframes, drawing inspiration from various Google dashboard designs, which helped map out the structure and flow of the interface.

The dashboard focuses on providing users with a comprehensive view of their health data. Key sections include tracking water balance, weekly activity levels, and overall annual health trends, all visualized using thoughtfully selected chart types to enhance data comprehension. One of the core features is a section for scheduled appointments and assigned doctors, giving users a clear overview of upcoming visits. I also included a panel for basic user information for quick reference. The goal was to design a layout that balances informative visuals with user-friendly navigation, ensuring that both patients and healthcare providers could access and interpret the data effortlessly.

Hello Shivani,

  1. I couldn’t see a logout option on the dashboard. From a UX perspective, it would be good to include it. Users should have a clear way to log out after signing in.
  2. There is a large gap between the “General Health” and “Water Balance” cards at the top. This section could be center-aligned or a third category could be added to balance the layout. Adding a date filter here would also give users more flexibility and control.
  3. The selected item in the sidebar doesn’t stand out much from the others. Using a darker text color or a background highlight could make it clearer which page the user is currently on.

Overall, the foundation is solid, and these small adjustments can make the experience even smoother. Great effort so far—keep going, you're doing really well!🚀

Great work, Shivani. The layout is clean and easy to follow. You picked a good color system for a medical dashboard calm and professional. The charts for water, activity, and health trends are useful and well-placed.

I like how you included upcoming appointments and doctor info it makes the dashboard helpful for both patients and doctors. The structure feels familiar, but it could be more unique. Maybe try adding small animations or fresh layout ideas next time to make it stand out more.

Overall, a solid design with strong basics. Keep it up!
