Brand name’s “StyleMe” sounds as playful call to style with someone’s help. As the page should have modern yet minimalistic design, I’ve decided to use self–explanatory and unobtrusive design decision. Here we can play on stereotypical perspective of the color. According to the Adobe Materials pink is a nurturing, playful color that make us think of both innocence and passion. What’s also important, it’s a calming color associated with love and femininity. 

My desire is to make a page that will awake friendly, yet trusting emotions in user. I want it to feel like you’re asking for an advice a close friend of yours, who is style-icon and you can definitely trust them.

  • ease

I’ve selected a well contrasting hues of pink, and also decided to use more eye-friendly black and white. I’ve used accent color, darkened accent, and light-pink. 

Firstly, I’ve done a quick paper sketch to check different ideas, and then used Balsamiq, to make my ideas more clear. However, even on the final stage, some changes were provided.  

I tried to make an eye-catching simple landing page, that will directly call user to action and ensures the trustworthy as well as shows benefits for user.

This is looking pretty good so far but I have some gripes with the design:

  1. There is sometimes indistinguishable copy hierarchy, and I have a hard time figuring out the visual hierarchy of some elements on the page
  2. The copy at times can be too wordy, or at least gives that illusion due to how large the text is
  3. The spacing of elements is iffy at times, sometimes elements seem way too close while other elements seem perfectly fine

But despite all of those issues, if those were fixed, this would be an even greater landing page!
