Website Redesign - Something Vintage Something Blue
Something Vintage Something Blue is a small luxury chauffeur business, providing beautiful vintage cars to pick you up or take you to a special event.
For this project I set out to modernize the old site and align it more with the vintage, luxury feel the company's visitors would expect.

Hi Michael! Your redesigned website looks fantastic! It captures the vintage vibe beautifully with a great colour palette and a hero image that perfectly conveys the "bluey" atmosphere.
However, the logo and header take up a lot of valuable space. Consider reducing their size or creating a simplified version of the logo to use, while keeping the full version as a brand element.
Regarding the breadcrumbs, while they contribute to the 90s feel, they also take focus away from the key selling points—the photos. You might want to push the images higher and turn the navigation into an overlay, so the cars and atmosphere remain in the spotlight.
The overall style works well, but I’d suggest evolving it into a smart-vintage look. Some components feel too outdated and could be modernised, leaving the vintage charm to the photos, logo, and cars.
Great job overall!

I love how much detail you have gone into with your case study! From the research you have conducted to showing the restructuring with the site map. I also liked the fact that you showed each stage of your redesign from sketch to mockup! So really great work.
My only curiosity is if you tested your colours with a contrast checker. Some of the colour choices but not be accessible?
Overall a great case study!
