Metta Restaurant Homepage Design 1

Metta Restaurant Homepage Design 2

Hi everyone 👋

I’ve just completed the homepage design for Metta, a multi-cuisine restaurant, as part of a web design case study. The main focus of this design is to highlight the diverse menu and the ease of making reservations.

I want to ensure that the design effectively reflects the brand's identity and makes it easy for users to view the menu and book a table.

If you have a moment, could you please review this design? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated in refining it.

Thank you so much!✨

Amazing, Wruhantojati! You really did a great job here!

The color palette is awesome and the hierarchy of fonts is top. I like the negative space.

But I do want to add a few things if you would want to really shine.

  • i have seen that you got a design system but the buttons need a few adjustments. First, they have so many different radius all over the place. Even the reserve now and view menu height is different (I know why that happened ) Try to make 3 types: small, medium, and large, and adjust the corners.
  • the radiuses of the cards are so different, try to have only one for consistency.
  • although it looks the same, the color of the background on our menu and customer testimonials is different. For a better implementation use only one method (opacity of a color or solid color)

I would love to see the mobile version of this!

Great vibes!

The project is visually appealing with a good balance of color and imagery.

I noticed some variation in icon frame sizes within the “Get in touch today” section, which leads to a slight misalignment of the text.

Reducing the font weight in the customer testimonials section could enhance readability and overall design harmony.

Great work on this design Wruhantojati!

You should be proud since you've included many of the key elements needed for a high-converting landing page and have made great use of colours and typography.

To improve this page further here's a few suggestions:

  • Consider including a section highlighting the process or steps needed to achieve the end result your product/service is offering. Ideally within 3 steps - this would help give an overview of the actions needed and gain buy-in from your users by clearly displaying the transformation offered. I would have this section soon after your hero section for maximum impact.
  • It's also not entirely clear to me what the exact offer is from the headline and supporting sub-headline due to ambiguous copy. Are you selling meal delivery, meal kits or is this a restaurant booking platform? Your offer or USP should be clear within 3-5 seconds, and the CTA label should also match.
  • Adding a snippet of social proof as an eyebrow headline could help to build trust and credibility with new users. For example "Rated 4.8 by 1000+ Customers". Alternatively this could be placed below your call-to-actions within the hero section

Hope this helps.
