Landing Page for Fashion website
Hello everyone. First of all, I want to thank you for taking your time to watch my design, and if you see something on it that you like or need to be better at, please leave a comment. That always helps me to be a better designer!
So, for starters, the subject of this design inspires me greatly! But I know I want to create a website that sells vintage collections of luxury brand clothing. I began by looking for ideas and inspiration from a couple of fashion labels that appeal to me. When I look at social media, I notice that the majority of influencers wear expensive brands and are invited to fashion weeks. So, in my perspective, influencers demonstrated that these things are more easily accessible. Know that you can have this access!
I wanted the design to be elegant, modern, and vintage at the same time. So, for the name of the site, I utilize ChatGPT with my challenge and the suggestions it generates. I found the name: Flashback Studio. I used Didot typography for the logo and headers because I wanted them to look fancy and old, while the base Serif typography looks like a luxury brand. I chose Anaheim typography, a Sans Serif typography, for the subheader typo and text to create a stark contrast between traditional and modern premium companies. For visibility, typos must be at least 16 px in size.
When I designed the wireframe, I knew I wanted to include some colors but keep the visual identity minimalist and recognizable. So, to add some color and remember the concept's vintage, I wrote the name of the mark in old yellow. Also, all of the photographs are from pexels.com, and I used Figma's functionality to make the images appear a little older with an argentic vibe.
I was inspired by luxury companies such as Jacquemus, Acne Studio, The Kooples, and Yve Saint Laurent when designing the website's layout. And the CTAs were really basic and classic, which is why my CTAs employ light typography and icons. And with the help of ChatGPT, I created a story of the mark. And Tada!! Here is my design!
I hope you like it, and please leave a remark even if you didn't like it so that I may improve my UI design the next time.
Thank you.

Great job on the website, Julie! I really appreciate your use of white space and the choice of fonts; they’re perfect for a fashion site. The imagery gives it a vintage yet trendy feel, which is appealing. However, I noticed a couple of areas that could be improved.
The calls to action (CTAs) within the hero image seem relevant for primary actions, but they visually vary in weight and look a bit washed out compared to other elements on the page. I suggest making them larger by increasing their height and padding for better emphasis.
Additionally, it would be beneficial to clearly present the value proposition at first glance. What sets this website apart from other fashion or retail clothing websites? Overall, it’s a fantastic piece of work, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thought process!
This is quite good
