Role: UI/UX Designer

Project Overview:

As a UI/UX designer, I was responsible for creating the product catalog page for Inkprint, a packaging and printing company. The primary goal was to design a user-friendly interface that effectively showcases the company's products and facilitates easy navigation for potential customers.

Key Features and Design Considerations:

• Minimalist Product Cards: To emphasize product attributes without overwhelming users, I opted for a minimalist card design. Instead of displaying prices, which can vary based on customizations, I included the minimum quantity as a consistent reference point.
• Intuitive Category Filters: Recognizing the importance of filtering options for Inkprint's target audience, I divided the product categories into industry, product size, and functions. These filters were strategically placed on the left side of the page for optimal accessibility and user experience.
• Clear Product Information: To provide users with essential details at a glance, I ensured that the product count and sorting options were prominently displayed at the top of the page.
• Secondary Navigation: To enhance site navigation, I highlighted all website categories in the secondary navigation.
• Comprehensive Footer: The footer includes all relevant links, providing users with easy access to important information.
• Hover Interactions: To offer additional functionality without cluttering the product cards, I implemented hover interactions that allow users to quickly view product details, add items to their wishlist, or share products. Since product customization is a significant factor, the "Add to Cart" button was omitted until users have made their selections.

By carefully considering these elements, I designed a product catalog page that not only presents Inkprint's products effectively but also guides users through the customization process in a seamless and intuitive manner.
