Hi everyone,

I am thrilled to introduce HealthTrack! The primary goal of this interface is to offer users a concise, motivating, and transparent overview of their health. Below are the key design choices:

User-Centered Design:

  • Simplified Design: The interface is kept clean and organized to prevent overwhelming users with excessive information.
  • Key Data Focus: Emphasizing essential health metrics such as steps, sleep, weight, and hydration enables users to monitor their progress effortlessly.
  • Encouraging Feedback: Positive reinforcement messages and progress indicators are utilized on the dashboard to inspire users.
  • Customization: While the layout maintains a clear structure, users have the settings option to personalize the view to highlight their preferred data points.

Information Architecture:

  • Overview Segment: A brief daily greeting, date, and well-being message create a welcoming atmosphere and establish the tone for the user experience.
  • User Profile: Displaying the user's name and basic details adds a personalized touch to the dashboard.
  • Data Segments: Categorizing health data into sections like Reports, Medication, and Appointments facilitates smooth navigation.
  • Visual Representation of Data: Charts for heart rate, sleep duration, and weight provide a more intuitive way to comprehend trends over time.

Accessibility:

The commitment is to develop an inclusive experience. Throughout the development process, we will ensure that the dashboard complies with WCAG accessibility standards, incorporating features such as:

  • Enhanced Color Contrast: Distinct contrast between text and background colors will assist users with visual impairments.
  • Adjustable Text Size: Scalable fonts will be utilized to guarantee readability across different devices.

This health and wellness dashboard offers a user-friendly platform for individuals to monitor their progress and uphold their overall well-being. It emphasizes clear information display, actionable insights, and a touch of personalization.

I'm eager to receive your feedback! Let's engage in a discussion regarding any additional features or modifications that you may suggest.

Great job on defining major building blocks of the dashboard. Also, good description and reasoning in the project description.

The overall feedback topic would be improving visual part of the design:

  • Simpler and consistent type system
  • Improve spacing of components (both micro spacing between atoms, and macro between components themselves)
  • Cleaner styling — a lot on redundancies in styles (shadows, too strong lines, etc)
  • Sizing and hierarchy

I like the work you did with this dashboard! The colors and illustrations seem very fitting. However, your work could benefit from better use of negative space and more consideration for how the layout would adjust if more information were added. For example, what would happen if a patient has more than one doctor? Overall, I think it's decent work!

Salva, you are on the right track. There are some good elements. However, there's a bit of cognitive load. There is a lot of information to digest. I would also suggest reviewing the texts to make them shorter. I know you are trying to convey encouragement and motivate your users. But, most users don't spend a lot of time reading. Could you use more visuals to say the same? The color yellow is a great choice! :)

Nice Work can make it more clean and better

The design is functional but has a few areas that could be improved. The style feels inconsistent, particularly with the profile picture, which doesn’t match the rest of the dashboard's design, disrupting the overall visual harmony. The oversized icons are a bit too dominant and may detract from the balance and readability. Also, the white text on the orange background might not meet the WCAG A1 contrast standard, potentially affecting readability for users with visual impairments.

Nice 👌
