Comparative analysis of industry competitors

Zara

I started my analysis form the most famous mass market Zara. I provided my analysis reading many users’ posts on Reddit, because it’s a really good platform, where people write their opinions on different themes. I came across one post on Reddit:

Fashion Service Landing Page 1

Fashion Service Landing Page 2

Also I met comments like this:

"Very hard to search. I have seen smth and then later used their exact descriptor to look for it again and no, it won't find it."

Mango

"The return process isn't great."

"Similar to Zara, but better quality."

"Contrasting prices between Europe and USA, up to 50%."

Conclusions that I made following these comments fashion service website will showcase:

  1. True to reality photos of clothes with poses that show the clothes length, color and form
  2. Right sizing
  3. Easy return process
  4. Easy search for the product needed
  5. Easy and accessible UI/UX

I would also add to my design the ‘Return item” section, in which the client can return his/her item as easy and fast as it’s possible depending on the country and city/town where client is.

Easy search is also very important for fashion service website, that’s why I would add broad filtering section, where user can easily find the needed item (by colour, neckline, length, details, fitting, material, product type, style and collection).

The comparative analysis sets the right direction, and the insights you've gathered from users highlight significant issues they face. However, it's not clear how your landing page addresses these problems. We only see the home page, with no product page or checkout process, making it difficult to understand how your solution helps. Additionally, there's no demonstration of the search functionality, filters, or return process.

This work shows great potential, but it would benefit from further development.
