Activated state

Activated state

Activated states show what users are currently viewing or interacting with — like a selected tab or an active filter in search results. They’re different from enabled states, which indicate elements that are available for interaction but not currently selected.

Activated states help users stay oriented by showing where they are in the interface. They’re often highlighted with overlays or color changes. Make sure they stand out clearly, but don’t overwhelm other visual elements.
