About this career path

Start your career as a product manager with skills that reflect how real product teams work. This path covers product foundations, discovery, prioritization, delivery, and analytics, along with ethical and AI-aware product practices. You’ll work through structured units that combine courses, skill assessments, realistic product scenarios, and a professional certification exam.

The curriculum begins with product management fundamentals, the product development lifecycle, and business and technical basics. You’ll learn how to gather user insights, validate ideas, write clear product requirements, and prioritize work based on impact and constraints. Metrics, KPIs, and product analytics help you connect decisions to outcomes and measure success beyond feature delivery.

You’ll also build strong collaboration and strategic skills. We'll guide you through all the areas of UX design and concepts you need to know to land a job. You'll be offered UX design courses (and several courses to help you build cross-functional skills, like product management and AI, to work successfully as part of a modern product team), assessments, project briefs, and a professional certification exam to help you master and showcase the skills required for the role.
Is the PM career path 100% online?
Yes, the career path is completely online. You can learn and complete all the materials directly in your browser. Additionally, you will have full access to the Uxcel mobile app, which enables you to complete course material on the go! The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
How long does it take to complete the career path?
You can complete the PM career path at your own pace. Students who dedicate at least 1 hour per day can complete the entire career path and the exam within 3 months.
