Uxcel Pulse skill test will give you a comprehensive snapshot of your current UX/UI design skills, including your design thinking ability and your knowledge of the psychology of design, UX research, and design methodologies. You’ll get learning recommendations based on your strengths and weaknesses and see how you stack up against other designers. Top scorers are invited to join our exclusive talent pool.

Instructions

  • The assessment has a time limit.
  • Do not use search engines or seek assistance from others.
  • Once you've submitted an answer, you can't go back.
  • If you're unsure of an answer, it's better to respond with "I don't know" rather than guessing randomly.
  • You may exit the test, but the timer will continue running.
  • You have 2 attempts per assessment every 30 days.

    Pulse is an adaptive assessment that accurately measures your design skill level in various roles such as UX, UI, and product design. It uses dynamic, role-specific questions to provide a comprehensive view of your strengths and skill gaps.

  • Can I take the Pulse assessment multiple times?

    Yes! We encourage retaking the assessment periodically to improve your reliability score and track your progress over time. You need to take the Pulse test at least 6 times to achieve a full reliability score.

  • What happens when I complete a Pulse assessment?

    When you complete Pulse, you'll receive a dashboard with detailed insights into your performance, tailored learning recommendations, and updates to your skill graph. You'll also see how you compare against the benchmark for your role.

  • Do I need to pay to take Pulse?

    You can take the Pulse assessment for free. However, to access detailed insights about your performance, such as the ability to review your answers, you'll need to upgrade to Uxcel Pro.

  • Are my Pulse assessment results private?

    Yes, your assessment results are private to you. We will not share your results without your permission.
