I built StagePass to solve a problem I kept seeing: finding and booking events felt scattered and frustrating. I wanted one app where you can discover what’s happening, book tickets fast and keep everything organized. So I designed it around simplicity- trending events up front, smart recommendations and a clean ticket flow with calendar integration. The goal: make going out feel effortless.

Update note:

Big thanks to Seth, Rufat, and Abdelrahman for your thoughtful feedback- it really pushed me to refine StagePass.

I revisited the iOS Human Interface Guidelines and studied App Store layouts as examples of strong hierarchy and spacing.

At first, I was hesitant and too subtle with hierarchy, but this round helped me be clearer. I’d love your feedback again to see if I’ve applied your advice correctly.

In the Links, I added a Figma prototype where you can view the screens in better quality.

The design looks really nice overall, but I’d like to suggest a few improvements:

  • The text inside the chip on the main cover has low readability, which could cause accessibility issues.
  • Increasing the spacing between the cards and the main headings would create a better balance.
  • In the ‘Upcoming Events’ section, the main heading feels too large – you could slightly reduce the font size. Also, since the text below is secondary information, it could be displayed in a smaller size.

Wishing you success with this project! Looking forward to seeing even stronger work in your future projects.

It's the hierarchy in size, Maja. It's clear you have an understanding, but I think you're still implementing it too subtly. Every element is competing for attention; it's like they're shouting in unison in the crowd but at different decibels: “StagePass!”, “Warsaw!”, “Warmplay”, “Your Booking!”, “Icons!” when it should be in harmony. Better yet, it should direct the user with its headings, subheadings, and paragraphs for legibility.

The good thing is there's a quick fix. You can study and compare Uxcel templates or refer to the guidance provided by these giant brands: iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design.

Everything else is good. Looking forward to your next project!

Thank You for review! I will definitely look into it again with this project and future ones as well.

Maja, love the idea behind StagePass and the clean dark mode vibe — it feels practical and user-friendly. To refine it further, watch out for text readability and spacing between sections to give the layout more balance. Overall, strong concept and great execution!
