These screens are designed for Apple 44mm Watch and focuses on minimal, quick interactions and on-the-go messaging. The interface is designed to appear visually appealing without distracting the user from their activities, and from completing the quick actions they intend to. Since most watch users prefer dark mode, the colors chosen were tested for visibility against dark backgrounds. The app is meant to feel modern, seamless and flexible to the user's time constraints and environment.

I'm happy to finally see another design showcase in this category! While I like what I see so far, it's kind of difficult to evaluate your choices based on only three screens. From what I see, I like the typeface sizing. In my opinion, this is the most affordable typeface sizing for a smartwatch. I would like to know more about the rationale behind the app itself, what it's for, how effective it is for smartwatch users, and what the benefits of using it on a smartwatch are. Additionally, I would like to know more about the button copy. What does "dismiss" and "read" mean exactly? Should I read on the phone or on the watch itself? It would have been great if there were any cues for motor or visually disabled people, such as voiceover or something similar. I do like the color choices, though. I think this is a very nice start, Annie!

At this point, the designs look visually appealing and simple, which is ideal for a smartwatch device. However, one concern I have is the color of the buttons "Read" and "Dismiss" – they are practically the same, making it unclear which action is primary and which one is destructive. For example, if I dismiss the message, what would happen next?

To deepen the understanding of your work, I'd love to see how users navigate between these screens. What happens when users click the interactive elements? Are they able to respond to messages? Adding this detail would enrich the overall presentation.

Good luck with your project - you're doing great! 💪🏼
