Lagos Food Bank - Landing Page
As a Lagos Food Bank Initiative volunteer, I've experienced firsthand the struggles faced by vulnerable members of our society. This project is personal because I know how hard it is for NGOs to get the support they need. When I reviewed the current website, I noticed it had a lot of information that could overwhelm visitors, making it hard for them to focus on the key messages.
To address this, I decided to redesign the existing NGO website instead of creating a new one. My goal was to make the content more accessible and engaging. I divided the information into clear, focused sections, each with compelling headlines and subheadlines. I used high-quality images and videos to convey emotions and connect with users. Strategic CTAs were placed throughout to guide users towards taking action, whether volunteering, donating, or partnering with them.
I maintained our brand’s colours and fonts throughout the redesign to ensure consistency. The layout was made clean and modern, with ample whitespace to avoid information overload. This approach not only makes the site more visually appealing but also enhances the user experience, helping to engage more supporters.

For the next project, try to make the button colors consistent. In the "Hero" and "How Can I Help" sections, you used green, but in the subscription section, it's red. Additionally, please ensure the tertiary buttons ("Learn More" and "Read More") are consistent.
