FloraGoGo (Flower Delivery app Case Study)
About the Project
In 2021, I had the chance to work on an exciting project under the mentorship of Julie Biot. It was for a startup based in NYC, SF, and Atlanta that focused on delivering flowers within 1 hour—a concept that felt fresh and ambitious at the time!
The Concept
The app connected customers with local florists who could claim orders in real time, prepare them, and ensure delivery within the promised timeframe. The goal was to create an experience as seamless and delightful as Postmates or Uber, but with a focus on flowers.
My Role
I contributed to:
• Designing the App Experience: My focus was on making the interface not only functional but visually appealing, reflecting the elegance of the product—flowers!
• Rebranding the Visual Identity: I reworked their logo, color scheme, and typography to give the brand a fresh, modern identity that matched their quick and innovative service.
• User-Centric Approach: Every decision, from the layout to the colors, was centered on making it easier for users to order flowers on the go.
What Made It Special
This project wasn’t just about design—it was about helping a business idea bloom (pun intended!). Working with Julie Biot was inspiring, and I learned a ton about balancing functionality with creativity. It’s a project I’m truly proud of, and I’d love to share more about it with anyone interested.
