My task was to redesign the Volksbank-Raiffeisenbanken website as part of the redesign. With over 700 independently operating banks, the main difficulty was to maintain brand consistency following a given style guide and to harmonise it with the individual bank's respective brand. In order to guarantee maximum freedom for the banks, we created a CMS with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Every bank was able to create its own website using individual components.

The main challenge for me was to achieve a combination of standardisation and flexibility. Working closely with development teams, I designed individual components and created design examples for the customers. Based on user research and user tests, it was my responsibility to iteratively design and improve the products while complying with accessibility requirements. During reviews, I paid particular attention to QA and ensured that the designs were accessible, e.g. that screen readers worked properly and that colour contrasts were high enough.

One of my tasks as Tribe UX/UI was to support a total of six development teams and designers and to create user stories. Having solid experience in handling JIRA boards was essential here.
