Youtube “Ad-Free Period” Reward
Design Concept: Ad-Free Period as a Variable Reward
One common pain point for users on YouTube (and other streaming platforms) is watching ads.
While the user’s main job is to enjoy video content, they must first watch ads, which can disrupt the viewing experience. However, from a business perspective, ads are essential—they are a primary revenue source.
My design concept seeks to balance these two perspectives by introducing a variable reward system. Under this system, when users watch ads up to a set threshold, they’ll have a chance to unlock an “ad-free period” during which they can enjoy videos without any interruptions. ✊
This could help users enjoy the platform more, as they’ll know there’s a chance to watch videos ad-free.
P.S. First time using Balsamiq! It’s an interesting tool. 😁

Interesting idea Parin!
Looks to me like message is cut at the end "just pure...". At first glance it feels unfinished.
Did you try to pitch it to youtube :D?
