Workshop Plan for a Productivity App 1

The workshop plan is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and strategic alignment within the team as they work on enhancing their productivity app.

  • Structured Ideation

Combining brainstorming sessions and product reviews ensures the team captures diverse perspectives while grounding their discussions in real user data and pain points.

  • Engagement and Collaboration

Incorporating ice-breaker activities and mixed-group brainstorming promotes team bonding and encourages cross-pollination of ideas. It helps for a more innovative atmosphere.

  • Prioritization for Focus

Using the MoSCoW prioritization method allows the team to systematically evaluate feature ideas based on their impact and feasibility. It helps them focus on what matters most to their users and the business.

  • Visual Mapping

Creating maps during the planning phase visually represents how new features integrate into the overall user experience. This aids in aligning team members around user needs and informs design decisions moving forward.

  • Clear Deliverables

The focus on producing prioritized feature lists, user journey maps, and an implementation timeline ensures that the outcomes of the workshop are actionable and directly tied to the project goals.

The team can aim to create a collaborative environment that not only generates ideas but also sets a path for turning those innovative ideas into actionable designs, ultimately enhancing the productivity app's value for our users.

I love how well thought out and engaging the activities are in your workshop plan. The ice breaker sounds fun and should get everyone comfortable. I really like the team swaps during brainstorming, it’s a smart way to mix perspectives and get fresh ideas. Well done Ipek!

Thank you for your feedback, Franjo!

Very nice presentation, just one detail, 16/20 people for a workshop to me seems a lot to manage - I would limit the number to a max 10 people to guarantee the success of the workshop.

Maybe I'm missing something?
