I spent around 3.5 months designing and developing my portfolio website using Figma and Framer. It later got nominated for Best Visual Design Portfolio 2025 by WD Awards, which made the effort even more rewarding.

Hello Subham,

your portfolio looks very impressive and well-crafted. I really enjoyed how you present your experience and skills in a clear and professional way. The structure feels thoughtful, and the visual design demonstrates both creativity and strong technical expertise. Overall, a great job that reflects your talent and dedication!

Thanks, Eirin! Loved your feedback I’m working on a lighter version with fewer effects, optimised to be easier on the system. Stay tuned

Congrats, your hard work over 3.5 months finally paid off!

I couldn’t browse it properly since it’s too heavy for my old laptop, lol, but I can say it’s a really cool site with its design principles applied well. If you ever build a minified version, let me know!

I have a powerful laptop and yet it's still laggy, you should improve it Shubham its ruining all your effort. Other than this slowness issue the website is really nice.
Oh, so it isn't just me then? 😮‍💨 My experience with Framer/Webflow sites is they’re usually sluggish. They seem to need proper treatment to be more inclusive across device variants.
Yes Anis, I’m also not sure how to fix this. I’ve already cut down all the fancy effects after multiple Google site analyses, and this is the lowest I could bring it to. Still, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to get resolved. That’s why I’ve started working on a 2nd version, lighter with better UX but without compromising on visuals Thanks a lot for your genuine feedback. It’s running fine on my laptop in Chrome, but unfortunately it’s lagging on other platforms :(

wow, what an experience! Great work!

Thanks Quang! Soon I'll update it with more content and process behind the design and development. Stay Tuned ;)

Great job on your portfolio site. It is clear you invested real time and care into both design and development, and the WD Awards nomination is strong proof of its quality.

As a mentor, I’d suggest highlighting what design choices or interactions make your portfolio stand out. Sharing a bit about your process or challenges could inspire other designers who want to build their own.

Overall, it is a professional and polished showcase, and the recognition you received is well deserved.

You have a really good point here! Sure, I'll update the post and describe my process and challenges ❤️

This is awesome! I really enjoyed the experience, and I have to echo previous feedback I’ve seen regarding the site’s performance. Improving this aspect: reducing the lag (I noticed it on a MacBook Pro using Chrome with high-speed internet), would make the experience even better.

That said, I want to highlight the level of detail and the immersion achieved through the transitions. They add a lot of value and make the experience feel engaging and well thought out.

I love it ! ❤️

This is so cool!
