User Personas for Social Media App
For this project, I took on the task to gain a deeper insight as to why Facebook was facing a decrease in user engagement. To accomplish this, I conducted user interviews to assess what common factors were affecting the users' experience.
Through the interviews, I noticed two main traits were prevalent: those who use social media mostly for networking purposes, and those who use it mostly to stay connected with friends and family. In addition, many users shared common frustrations with the news feed. Specifically, with the quality of the content being suggested to them, and the inability to From these characteristics, I created two user personas that accurately reflect the main traits of the social media app's users.
These two user personas will now give our social media app direct targets to shoot for with our next updates. One possible update to focus on can include adding a user rating system to the recommended content that appears in their feed, by either having star ratings, or a simple thumbs up/thumbs down counter for each suggested post. Another update we can implement is adding a bookmarking system for posts. This will help users easily save posts within the app, and revisit them whenever they'd like.

I like that the goal is to see why these specific personas are becoming disinterested in Facebook, its an interesting point of view.
Elements such as the photo, job title and religion adds nice depth to the character and helps us to better visualise the persona. I also like that you added what other social media platforms they use - I wish that you incorporated this into the Goals and Needs, because that would be very helpful to the goal you're researching. For example, it would be interesting to see how much they use each social media app or if they prefer the one over the other.
Its good that you list the personality traits but this could be expanded with more specific examples or scenarios that show these traits in action. For example, Abe is compassionate and generous - so expand on this in the Goals, Pain Points, Motivations or Frustrations. This way you're not just listing traits, but you're also showing us how they show up in Abe's life.
The presentation of the personas is also professional, clean and well organised. Overall you're provided comprehensive snapshots of the target audience which is a valuable tool in any project.
