Introduction

Resetting a forgotten password can be a frustrating experience. My goal is to create a smooth, user-friendly password reset flow that minimizes friction and gets users back into their accounts quickly and securely.

Rationale for Design Choices

Simplicity.

I've designed a streamlined process with clear, concise instructions on each screen to prevent users from feeling overwhelmed or confused.

Clarity.

Every message and call-to-action is straightforward, ensuring users understand what they need to do at each step.

Security.

Users are reassured with security tips and indicators, like password helper text validation, to help them create strong passwords. My email also emphasizes security by highlighting the 24-hour expiration of the reset link.

Accessibility.

The design is optimized for all users, including those with disabilities. I've used readable text sizes, high-contrast colors, and screen reader compatibility to ensure everyone can reset their passwords easily.
