Kapuro Brand Design: Conceptual Rationale

Design Concept Overview

The Kapuro brand design is a carefully crafted visual narrative that captures the essence of a premium purple corn powder product from Bohol, Philippines. The design approach aims to communicate purity, local heritage, and natural quality through strategic visual elements.

Naming Strategy

The name "Kapuro" is linguistically strategic:

  • "Ka-" prefix: Tagalog connection marker symbolizing relationships
  • "Purple Corn" reference: Direct product origin
  • "Puro" (Cebuano): Meaning "pure"

This naming creates a multilingual narrative that emphasizes:

  • Local cultural roots
  • Product transparency
  • Natural essence

You should always include explicit directions for white (and inverted) black colour ways as those are the most common scenarios for any logo, not just your chosen colour. Also whats the minimum size for legibility?

Thanks for suggestion, Kevin. I will try.
