Airbnb Reimagined” is an AI-powered redesign of Airbnb’s core booking experience. The project simplifies how travelers discover and book stays through mood-based exploration, smart recommendations, and effortless trip planning. The prototype highlights a seamless flow from finding a stay to generating personalized itineraries — all guided by warm, human-centered design

Context

Airbnb Reimagined: Smarter Bookings & Effortless Planning is a concept redesign created for the Uxcel x UXPilot challenge. The goal was to enhance the Airbnb booking journey using AI to make discovery and decision-making intuitive and delightful. The design introduces mood-based destination browsing, intelligent stay recommendations, and a built-in trip planning companion that automatically curates personalized itineraries.

Built entirely with UXPilot, the project explores how AI can act as a co-designer — from generating wireframes to refining high-fidelity UIs — while maintaining a consistent visual language inspired by Airbnb’s warmth and trust. The final prototype connects 12 interactive screens that showcase a streamlined, emotionally engaging travel experience.

Problem

• Travelers face information overload when searching for stays.
