Retina

Retina displays are high-resolution displays with a pixel density higher than the human eye can detect. Generally, their resolution is at least 300 pixels per inch.

Retina displays create a highly realistic image. The term was originally coined by Apple when such displays first appeared on the iPhone 4 and 4S.
