Contrast

Contrast refers to the differences between two objects in a composition. Contrast can be achieved in many ways, with color being one of the most obvious. Black and white, for example, have high contrast.

Contrast is also an important consideration for creating accessible designs. The contrast between text and background colors should be at least 4.5:1 for small text and 3:1 for larger text.
