User Personas for Social Media App - Instagram
I created user personas for Instagram to better understand and address the diverse needs of their users.
I found that users are often frustrated by issues like irrelevant ads and a cluttered interface, which can overshadow meaningful content and make content discovery difficult.

However, there are several aspects where you can enhance the persona to make it more comprehensive and actionable for UX/UI design:
- demographics - you could add income level and professional level experience
- personality - give more context in explaining how each trait manifests in the user persona behavior.
- social media - explain how each user uses each platform and for what (e.g., LinkedIn for networking, Instagram for inspiration)
- biography - daily routine could give more context on how user uses instagram
- goals and needs - hierarchy of needs and long term vs short term goals
- pain points - explain emotional impact - how does this pain point affect him emotionally and professionally
- motivation - add details on what specifically triggers these motivations
- frustration - provide a rate scale to give a wider image
