User Persona: The PressurePal User
Designing the User persona for the PressurePal Health app involved placing the user at the core of the product experience — the goal was to build a clear and empathetic understanding of his needs and motivations:
Identifying Core Demographic and Contextual Information: Otunba’s age (52), stage of life and career (approaching retirement), and health condition (hypertension diagnosed five years prior). The context of his life – juggling work stress and family commitments – was also noted as a key factor influencing his health management.
Pinpointing Key Challenges and Pain Points: The persona focused on Otunba's primary struggle: the difficulty in consistently tracking his blood pressure and understanding the contributing factors. The hassle of keeping up with a "paper notebook record taking that often gets forgotten" highlighted a specific, relatable pain point with his current method.
Defining Motivations and Goals: Understanding Otunba's "why" was crucial. His motivation to lower his blood pressure (from 142/88 to below 130/80) was directly linked to his upcoming retirement and a significant personal experience – his father's stroke at a similar age. This added an emotional and urgency-driven layer to his goal.
Establishing a Desired Outcome: The persona clearly articulated Otunba's need for "a simpler way to monitor his heart health," indicating a desire for a more effective and less burdensome solution than his current approach.

You've made a good start by putting together a clear persona with essential details.
Suggestion:
Try enhancing the visual hierarchy and layout—adding better spacing, icons, or color accents can make the persona more engaging and easier to read.
