The Challenge

Providing pet owners with a digital solution that connects them with pet sitters.

Nowadays, pet sitting has become a necessity for pet owners with a high-speed, dynamic lifestyle that requires travelling, moving around, and engaging in activities with less conscientiousness about your pet’s timely meals, walks on a sunny day, or even indulgence and luxury.

Our high-level goals were to:

  • Allow pet owners to find and hire pet sitters on the go.
  • Give pet owners more control over their time and life engagements.
  • Provide pet owners with access to a variety of choices for pet sitters.
  • Make it fast and easy to use for every pet owner, everywhere.

Great work, Aiman. I appreciate you supporting your work with research data. However, some data seems excessive and it's not clear what purpose it serves. Additionally, I didn't get how your app differs from competitors and what makes it so compelling that users would prefer it over others.

The prototypes' quality is a bit too low, and some text is hard to decipher and review fully. You might need to increase the text color contrast.

Other than that, well done!

Hi Alesya, Thanks so much for your feedback on my case study, I really appreciate your insights, and I'll definitely take them into account. Here are a few thoughts in response to your points: I understand that some of the data might seem excessive. My goal was to provide thorough research to help other designers understand the process and learn from the details that might otherwise be missed. I'll work on making it more concise and focused on the key insights. Regarding the differentiation, I'll make sure to better highlight how SitMyPet stands out from the competition. Emphasizing the unique features and user-centric design elements that make it compelling will be a priority. I hear you on the prototype quality and text readability issues. The case study was originally published on Behance on March 25th, 2020, and the prototypes were created using Adobe XD, which had some limitations at the time. Thanks again for the constructive feedback!
