Park Prepared: User Journey Map
This is a customer journey map for my case study of Parking Pal, an app that helps users find personalized parking. This was the first rendition user map I've created, laying down how they would use the app.
Gabe Oswell is one of my customer personas, a twenty-year-old college student who's driven for a few years but new to downtown.

Hi Shemar!
Thanks for posting this journey map. I was immediately drawn to the stylized persona illustration you used- good job on personalizing your design and making it stand out!
Your project has great information about the process your persona might go through in trying to find a parking spot. Its good to see the ebb and flow of emotion throughout the user journey, and I think that captured. Your map provides a nice contrast between emotions and the solutions that you might capture in the app.
I might suggest starting your journey map before Gabe installs Park Hero. What got him there? Has he had a history of traveling to a location and found parking challenging? Did he find the app through a google search? These details might be helpful to understand where Gabe might download your app and why.
I might also change the language when talking about Park Hero- instead of using the term "users", personalize it! Tell us how the app impacts Gabe's specific journey.
Overall really great job with this! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more work from you on here :)
Shemar, love how you visualized Gabe’s journey so clearly 🙌—if you start the map a bit earlier (like how he discovers the app) it’ll add more depth, but overall this is a strong and thoughtful first journey map.
