Hi Ayşe. Your HappySense app is an amazing concept with a lot of potential. It could be interesting to expand its features in the future to cater to a wider range of disabilities, offering even more comprehensive support.

That said, I'm curious about the business model behind it. From a profitability standpoint, how do you envision generating revenue, and how feasible is it to develop all the listed features from a technical perspective? It seems like a significant investment of effort without a clear path to monetization.

The concept and purpose are truly valuable—fantastic work!

Hi Yuliia, Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, it means a lot to me! I designed this fictional app to primarily showcase my design thinking process, so I didn’t focus deeply on the business and technical feasibility at this stage. Technically, the app would need a strong infrastructure to handle large amounts of data from various sources. I’d collaborate closely with developers to figure out the right infrastructure to meet the app’s goals. I understand that implementing this in the real world would be complex and challenging. From a business perspective, the app would use a freemium model, allowing users to access up to four places per category for free. Users would also receive three free attempts at personalized recommendations from the AI assistant. After that, they could subscribe to a monthly plan which unlocks additional places and unlimited use of the AI assistant. Thanks again for your kind words and encouragement :)

Hi Ayşe,

Wonderful!

As a highly sensitive person, I find this project to be very useful.

My eyes were immediately drawn to a pink cloud with a smile, which is so simple and sweet. Overall, the colors used in the design are relaxing and cozy, and the overall user interface leaves a pleasant impression.

If I was, for example, Google, I would definitely consider buying this concept and implementing it in Google Maps. 🙃

I have some concerns about the legal aspect of the project, as it seems that all locations must provide access to cameras. However, given your experience in the field of law, I'm sure this has been carefully considered.

Nevertheless, I still think the project is intriguing and aesthetically pleasing. Keep going! 💙

Hi Anna, Thank you so much for your kind words! It made me especially happy knowing that it came from someone who truly understands the challenges of being highly sensitive. In a real world scenario, the app wouldn’t cover places where privacy is crucial. Also, the app would only work with anonymized data, meaning no identifiable info like faces, voices or personal details would be stored. Instead, the app would focus on environmental factors like noise levels or crowd sizes. I designed this fictional app to primarily showcase my design thinking process, so I didn’t dive deeply into the technical or legal aspects at this stage. Thanks again for your encouragement :)💙

As someone who is on the spectrum, your idea really resonated and I love how much depth you when into with your process and screens. The detailed explanation really helped with the flow of your case study so really great work!

Your feedback is invaluable, thank you Robert! I'm really glad to hear that the project resonated with you :)
You are welcome :)
