Toggle grid visibility
To show or hide layout grids in Figma, you can easily toggle their visibility. This is helpful when you want a clearer view without deleting your grids.
To toggle all grids in your file:
- Click the Zoom percentage at the top-right to open the View Settings menu.
- If the Layout guide setting has no check, click it to show the grids. If it's checked, clicking will hide them.
- Alternatively, press Control G (Mac) or Ctrl Shift 4 (Windows) to toggle grids on or off quickly.
To toggle just one grid:
- Select the frame you're working on.
- In the Design panel, under the Layout guide settings, click the eye icon next to the grid of your choice to turn it on or off.
This way, you can control which grids are visible at any time, helping you focus on your design.
