User Persona for Social Media Platform
For this project I asked one of platform user from Uxcel, Julia(Yuliya). Talking about the platform for social media app, I asked her about what is her painpoints, motivation etc. Gathering data on her about social media app seems like she would like to improve/suggest some improvements on how ads on social media app is being viewed frequently.

Hi Nico! 🧩
It was genuinely great to dive into your work on creating personas! It's clear you've put a lot of thought and effort into this process, and that's really cool. Your personas already look quite strong, and this is an excellent base for further growth. You're definitely on the right track!
To make your personas even more lifelike and truly understand the pains and goals of your users, I suggest focusing on the next step: research.
Imagine how much deeper you could get into your future users' world if you combined:
🟪 Quantitative research (like surveys): These will help you see the bigger picture and find common trends.
🟪 Qualitative research (in-depth interviews): This is your chance to talk to real people, hear their stories, and understand their motivations and fears. This is where the true empathy that sets apart an outstanding designer is born!
By using these methods, you won't just learn what your users want, but you'll feel what they need. This will allow you to create truly innovative and valuable solutions.
You've already done a great job and shown a fantastic start. Remember: every next step isn't just about improving skills; it's your opportunity to become a true expert in your field. Believe in yourself, keep experimenting, and shine! I'm sure you'll do amazing things!☺️
It would be great if this persona is to be put in a certain context, that would make viewer has better understanding of your work. Good job, looking forward to your next project!
Hello Nico
The user persona presented for Julia A is a strong and well-thought-out example of how to create a vivid and target group-adapted profile for a social media platform. The content is well-formulated and provides a clear picture of Julia as an engaged UX/UI designer focused on inspiration, new trends, and social interaction. The biography is concrete, her social habits are clearly described, and pain points like “irrelevant advertising” provide valuable insights for the design team.
The visual presentation is modern and appealing, with a clean layout and a calm color palette that reinforces the tech-oriented feel. The choice of image is excellent, giving the persona warmth and credibility. The typography and structure of the sections make the content easy to read and navigate.
Despite these strengths, there are areas for improvement. Some sections, such as “Goals” and “Motivation,” are identical, which makes the content less nuanced. This suggests that the interview questions could have been more in-depth. The pain point could also be further developed with concrete examples of consequences or user behaviors.
From a UI perspective, the contrast between text and background needs to be improved to meet accessibility requirements (WCAG). Light gray text on a blue background reduces readability. In addition, some elements, such as the “Personality” section, overlap with the image, negatively impacting clarity.
Finally, I want to emphasize that this is a promising project with strong design and content, which can be elevated to an even higher level through improved contrast, responsive layout, and deeper research.
