User Persona for Social Media App
I wanted to create a persona that embodied real issues that a user may experience. The user wants had to be authentic and to do this I sent out a survey to 12 women between the ages of 21-30 to get a basic understanding of their personalities and social media habits. After I reviewed my surveys, I contacted each participant for a short interview to go into detail about their concerns and needs regarding how they participate on social apps.
What I gathered was a longing for individuality, genuine content, and a social app that didn't need to feel so serious. While there were a few outliers, I found these needs to be the most prominent in my data collected.
