StrayCare App was born from a deep commitment to helping stray animals. We engaged with rescue volunteers, listened to shelter challenges, and designed a solution that truly meets their needs. From empathy-driven research to iterative design, every step shaped an app that simplifies rescue efforts and fosters community action.

The Problem

  1. Lack of coordination delays rescue efforts.
  2. Many strays cases go without timely help.
  3. Urban strays struggle to get proper care.

The Solution

An app that makes reporting stray animals easy, ensuring quick help while uniting the community for animal welfare.

Your project has a meaningful purpose, and it’s great to see how much thought went into solving real problems for stray animals. The focus on community-driven action is a strong point!

One thing to consider is showing more about how users interact with the app—maybe highlighting key features or real user scenarios could make the impact even clearer.

Excited to see how this evolves! 🐾

The Stray Care App case study showcases a thoughtful approach to animal welfare, addressing coordination gaps with impactful design. Key features like reporting tools and networking enhance rescue efforts, while real user insights add depth. Guided by the primary persona, the user journey feels well-structured and effective. A great example of design driving positive change

The Stray Care App case study is truly impressive, showcasing a deep commitment to addressing real-world animal welfare issues. The empathetic user research with rescue volunteers and community members resulted in well-crafted personas and journey maps that clearly highlight user needs and pain points.

Key features, such as the management and reporting tool and networking platform, foster collaboration and prompt action, effectively tackling the lack of coordination in rescue efforts. Data visualization and interview quotes add depth, making the challenges more relatable. Overall, this user-centered design significantly impacts animal welfare, demonstrating innovation and practical solutions.

The primary persona, Priya Kapoor, effectively guides the design process, while the journey map and storyboard provide a detailed user experience guide. This case study is a fantastic example of how thoughtful design can drive positive change in animal welfare. Well done!

Honestly, this is a really cool concept and one that's need of the hour too. The UI on the surface looks really easy to use and understand. I've just got a couple of suggestions though:

  1. The big bar chart showing impact is taking up the best spot on the home screen without really telling new users what to do. Maybe this space could showcase urgent cases that need help, highlight some success stories, or just make it super clear how to get started. The impact stats are definitely important, but they might work better tucked away in their own section.
  2. The second thing on my mind is the "+" button in the nav bar. I'm guessing it's for reporting new cases, but new users shouldn't have to guess. How about giving it a label like "Report Case" or at least a helpful tooltip for first-timers? Since reporting new cases is probably one of the main reasons people would use this app, might as well make it crystal clear. Apart from these, it looks great to me! Awesome job.
