Sorelle - The Art of Tailoring

Welcome to this Uxcel Design Brief,

I created a fictive luxury brand called “Sorelle”.

This brand aligns it vision with classic high-fashion clothes like Yves Saint-Laurent but with a touch of futuristic.

All the assets were created with Midjourney and I decided to have so fun and create a fictive collection between Star Wars and Sorelle.

I hope you will like it !

Design Process Explanation

My design vision for this project was about a “Less is More” process (no icons and shapes or other elements in the background, only text and images).

I chose a layout that gives ample space for the differents eye-catching images, inviting users to explore the product catalog without distraction and with the wish to see more of the collections.

The font pairing consists of “Idealist” font for headlines. Created with distinctive curves I think this font is clearly adding a memorable touch.

“Futura” is the font I choosed for body text, with a clean and elegant feel it makes the overall design lighter and easy to read.

The color palette is built around a deep, muted red on the images (low saturation and a bit of temperature) creating a seamless blend with the classic black/grey text and the white background.

I choosed this combination of colors and sizing of elements (large images, huge top/bottom padding for products container) to give the user a visual experience without overwhelming.

This approach not only highlights the luxurious nature of the brand but also fosters a pleasant, inviting and smooth navigation.

My UX Writing Strategy is to not forced the user to buy the product like you can find on other clothes marketplace with agressives texts and calls to action. My vision is to not push for immediate sales but to subtly communicate that Sorelle is a trusted, established player, allowing users to feel confident in their purchase decisions.

Sorelle's UX writing focuses on establishing the brand’s credibility and allure within the competitive luxury market.

The exclusive newsletter subscription serves to enhance customer engagement, positioning it as a privilege where users gain access to special offers and early access to collections, thereby cultivating a sense of exclusivity.

Competitors Analysis

I aimed to position the brand alongside industry leaders by leveraging visual elegance and simplicity.

Brands like Saint Laurent, Vuitton, Versace and Balenciaga for example have set the standard for a modern, minimalist aesthetic so I decided to aligns my design with this approach, but with a distinctive futuristic twist.

By emphasizing high-quality visuals and an understated design, this work stands out by letting its products speak for themselves rather than overwhelming users with aggressive marketing tactics.

The goal is to create a seamless shopping experience that feels as luxurious as it looks like other high-fashion brands on the market.
