Reset Password - Mobile Application
The project and design brief for resetting the password on this mobile application begins with the Log-In function, on that page there are several options for "Log-In", there is "Login with email", then "Login with Google" and "Login with Apple", for the Google and Apple options are held because most users prefer to login without using a password and are already integrated with the application or personal email account so that the log-in process can be done more quickly, then there is a login with an email that has been registered in the application by inputting a password as a security measure for the account in the application.
However, it is not impossible for some users to experience "Blocking" when logging in with an email that has been registered in the application, one of the causes is an incorrect password input, it can happen because they forgot or the password has been changed. As a solution, there is a "Link" "Forgot Password" for users who experience this problem so that they can still enter the application even though they have forgotten their password by doing several steps to be able to "reset" the previously registered password.
next is when on the previous "Login page" there is a problem with the personal password, it will be directed to the following page "Forgot Password" the purpose of this page is to re-verify the user by sending a code to the email or cellphone number concerned that has been registered in the application. After getting the code, the page will immediately move/direct to the "Confirmation Code" page
On this page there is a "navigation tab" to choose whether to reset the password using email/username or cellphone number. Then there is a "Reset Password" button to proceed to the next stage, but if the email/username or cellphone number field has not been filled in, this button will be gray (#B0B0B0) is locked or cannot be used, when the email or cellphone number is filled in correctly, the button will be blue, this purpose is to avoid errors such as typing errors in the available fields.
then there is a "Confirmation page code" where on this page is where the user enters the 5 digit code that has been automatically sent to the email or phone number as a form of verification.
on this page there is also a Link or placeholder "Resend" this is useful if there is a case where sometimes the code is not received by the user's email and cellphone number, then the user can make a request to send a new code.
Then just like before if the field has not been filled in then the user cannot continue to the next process and the verify button will be gray or locked, conversely if it has been filled in then the button will be blue.
And if the code entered is wrong by the user, there are error messages and the stroke field turns red as an indicator that the code entered is wrong and to be able to repeat it.
The last one is the "reset new password" page. If the 5 digit code has been entered correctly, it will continue directly to the following page as a form and symbol of success. After that, you only need to enter the new password and re-confirm it and re-login using the latest password.

Your design captures the essence of user preferences and challenges effectively, especially the emphasis on seamless login options like Google and Apple. The thoughtful inclusion of a 'Forgot Password' link demonstrates your user-centric approach to problem-solving. To elevate this further, consider structuring the brief into clear sections—Login Options, Challenges, and Solutions. This would enhance readability and highlight the thought process more effectively. Additionally, expanding on the user journey for resetting a password could make the solution feel more robust and actionable. Overall, this is a solid foundation with great potential to become even more impactful!
