Hi Khoa. It's an exquisite approach of side card design. It provides not only an appealing seasonal look but also set of valuable information. The way you present the showcase is also effective yet clean. Some of addition suggestions I would like to contribute for this:
- Aside from the side card design, the rest of the UI feels like it’s missing a bit of the Tet (Lunar New Year) spirit to make the overall look more harmonious. What do you think about adding a little Tet-themed decoration to the logo or even some of the menu icons?
- For the mobile version, I guess the Tet side card would be quite long below the first screen fold? I would love to see how the design is creatively transferred into mobile layout so that the user could feel the Tet vibe at the first entry.
Thank you for good design and Happy Lunar New Year, Khoa 😉
After thoroughly reviewing the "New Year Learning Management System" design by Khoa, JAK, I appreciate the thoughtful integration of festive elements aimed at enhancing student engagement during the holiday season.
Strengths:
- Festive Integration: The design effectively incorporates Lunar New Year-inspired colors and motifs, creating a celebratory atmosphere that encourages students to continue their learning journey during the holidays.
- User Engagement Features: The inclusion of holiday practice roadmaps and progress tracking provides clear goals and motivation for students, promoting continuous learning.
- Visual Appeal: The design balances festive aesthetics with functionality, ensuring that decorative elements do not distract from the core educational content.
Areas for Improvement:
- Interactive Elements: Introducing subtle animations or interactive features could further enhance user engagement and make the learning experience more dynamic.
- Accessibility Considerations: Ensuring that colour choices and design elements are accessible to all users, including those with visual impairments, would broaden the design's inclusivity.
- Mobile Responsiveness: Adapting the design for various devices and screen sizes would ensure a seamless user experience across different platforms.
Overall, this project demonstrates a thoughtful approach to combining festive themes with educational tools, effectively motivating students to engage with the LMS during the holiday break.
I appreciate the illustrative flair around the borders. Balancing the reds and oranges while maintaining a readable font isn't easy so well done there. I would very much like to check out the figma but the link didn't work.
