Inclusive E-Commerce Shopping Experience with AR and Size Customization
For my e-commerce design, I’ve focused on creating an inclusive and user-friendly experience that allows customers to easily choose their size and see how products look on models of different body types. When a user selects a size (e.g., M, XL), they can view a model in the same size, helping them visualize the fit. I’ve also included an option to "Try with AR" so users can see how the item looks in real time on their own body. For users who need custom sizing, I’ve added a button for individual size requests.
1.Inclusive Size Representation:
- By allowing users to select different sizes and see how they look on models of the same size (M, XL, etc.), I promote inclusivity. This gives users a better understanding of how the product fits, which can help them make more informed decisions.
- Ethical Consideration: This feature acknowledges that body diversity is important and encourages a realistic and body-positive shopping experience. It ensures that users of all body types feel represented and empowered in their purchasing decisions.
2."Try with AR" Button:
- The inclusion of the augmented reality (AR) feature to allow users to see how the item looks on their real body is a great way to make the shopping experience more personalized and interactive.
- Ethical Consideration: AR technology helps bridge the gap between online and in-store shopping experiences, making it easier for users to envision how products will look in real life. This can reduce the uncertainty associated with online shopping and decrease the likelihood of returns, which is beneficial both for customers and for reducing environmental impact.
3.Individual Size Option:
- By adding an option for customers who need custom sizes, I am supporting a more diverse user base that may not fit into standard sizing categories.
- Inclusive Design: This option acknowledges the reality that many people may not fit into traditional size categories and ensures that the platform serves their needs.
4.Price Transparency:
- The inclusion of clear information about taxes being included in the price promotes transparency and trust with the customer.
- Ethical Design: Transparent pricing helps to build trust and avoids unexpected costs, making the platform feel more honest and customer-friendly.
This design reflects my commitment to ethical and inclusive principles, providing a better, more transparent, and accessible shopping experience for all users.

Hi Anastasiia, 👋
Your project demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical and inclusive design principles, especially through the size representation on diverse body models, the innovative AR “Try with AR” feature, and the option for custom sizing. 🤩👏
These choices effectively promote body positivity, personalization, and sustainability, aligning well with UX best practices.
Maybe expanding model diversity beyond size to include race, age, and gender will enhance inclusivity further. Also, make the AR feature easy to discover and use, with clear onboarding explaining its value.
For the free shipping (I was thinking maybe to have it on the cart page, not on the product page, what do you think?).
Overall, your design shows great potential. Well done, and keep up the excellent work! 🙌🥳
Sayed.
