In this project, I conducted a heuristic evaluation of the BAU Design College of Barcelona's website, focusing on its mobile version as viewed on an iPhone 14.

The goal was to identify usability issues and provide recommendations for improvement based on Jakob Nielsen’s 10 Usability Heuristics. While the website excels in many areas, this evaluation highlights specific usability concerns, drawing from my experience as a former student.

This analysis focuses on usability issues related to four key heuristics.

Heuristic 4: Consistency and Standards examines the site’s adherence to design norms and consistency across its interface.

Heuristic 5: Error Prevention evaluates how effectively the site prevents user errors and guides accurate form completion.

Heuristic 7: Flexibility and Efficiency of Use explores how the site accommodates various user needs and enhances efficiency.

Heuristic 8: Aesthetic and Minimalist Design reviews the clarity and simplicity of the design to ensure it supports a positive user experience.

Good job with the overall presentation. Excellent work in highlighting areas that need improvement and providing a visual example of your recommendations.

Hey Helena, great work.

Why did you choose to evaluate only 4 heuristics? Would be nice to see your feedback for all of them, you could point out what works well. Also you could add the Severity rating.
