Wireframes help save time

Wireframes help save time

Wireframing typically comes after the site map is created and before the visual design phase. It might be tempting to skip wireframing and jump straight into design, but does that actually save time? The short answer is no. Think of wireframing like creating blueprints for a house. You wouldn't speed up construction by skipping the blueprints, and the same applies here.

A well-designed wireframe saves both time and money. The better the team understands the product they're building, the fewer problems they'll encounter. And issues are far easier to fix during the exploratory stage than after the product is built.
