I absolutely love this redesign. The visual clarity and refined layout immediately grabbed my attention. The way you've reimagined the user flows and added thoughtful touches to strengthen usability shows a deep understanding of both the product and the user.
The consistency of the UI elements, the effective use of space, and the clean, modern aesthetic bring the experience up a level. The reasoning behind the design decisions is clearly communicated and really helps to understand the “why” behind each change.

I love how you walked us through the design analysis in depth, and it's something I will take inspiration from in my future case studies.
I also find it interesting how we both approached more or less the same topic, which is expense tracking, but we dealt with entirely different aspects of it. Just goes to show how diverse our needs and research outcomes can be based on the demographic.
I think while it can be challenging to maintain consistency across screens, you did a good job getting UX Pilot to deliver consistent outcomes and the screens look cohesive, and a part of the same package.
