In 2023, I participated in a LearnDesign UX Design boot camp. Our team was tasked with improving the conversion rates of SiePomaga, one of the most prominent Polish charity fundraising organizations.
The business goal we were presented with involved increasing the number, average amount, and frequency of donations—no small task!
Our past research and interviews with people who donate via SiePomaga pointed to one primary area of focus for our redesign: increasing engagement and rewarding donors by introducing a loyalty program.
We’ve introduced a concept of "Pomagajki," reward program points that would be awarded for multiple actions on the platform:
- Donating to any fundraiser
- Sharing fundraiser information on social media, leading to other people donating via our referral link
- Creating a virtual fundraising jar
The main idea was to reward donors for direct money transfers and involvement and help with promotion.
